🛞 Good morning, my beloved snowbird. Are you nice and warm today??

🛞 I am!!! Snuggled here at V’s in a nice warm blanket.

🛞 Yesterday was an uneventful trip from Independence, Missouri to Omaha. And I was practically on the road before remembering that my Blue Angel had Arizona summer tires on her. Totally not winter worthy!

🛞 So my best bet was to get my tires replaced as soon as I got to Omaha. Discount Tire said come on in! I was grateful for that decision cause at just 70 miles out of Kansas City light snow was blowing on the highway. Glad it wasn’t falling from the sky!!

🛞 True to their word, Discount Tire took me in. My agent had trouble finding the really good tires that I wanted. They weren’t in stock, so I settled for second best. I also decided to get a new set of wiper blades.

🛞 The Discount staff was determined to take care of everyone. I was 2:30 in, 7:00 out. And they took another car in as I was driving out!! (Did NOT close at 6:00!) I hope they got done so employees could get home before snowfall!

🛞 Collages are a couple messages about loss, a story about the leaf blower I ordered for Sis B, and a series about Discount Tire. They sure do take good care of me👏❤️👏

🛞 Notice the collage on lug nuts that come apart. I was sitting next to a fellow who has a Toyota. They showed him how his lug nuts were swollen. They had to use a special tool to get them off. He agreed to buy a full new set for $67! I’m glad I have a Hyundai.

🛞 That’s it… I thank you for your continued prayers for safe travel, for our extended framily and for others who hurt in so many ways.
