Monkeys not snakes

Friday 4/11/25

🐍  Good morning, my dear. How are you?

🐍 I am taking some time to relax. Four days in a row of ‘go-go’ is enuf. And I haven’t figured out what to do next.

🐍 Yesterday was (not surprisingly) a bust! I am fully experienced in setup time. We just didn’t advertise it as part of the event: Waurika Rattlesnake Hunt Apr 10, 2025 - Apr 13, 2025… oh, well..

🐍 So I made the most of the day, talked with some of the carnies and a man experienced in the rattlesnake circuit. I wasn’t aware that collecting snake venom was part of the project! He said that the business has mostly moved to Mexico.

🐍 Anyhow, with no snake to be eaten, I paid $10 to play for a bit with a monkey. Took some pictures and drove  a couple more hours back to B’s in OKC.

🐍 By then I was absolutely done with driving!  Don’t know if I’m  going back so I can eat some snake. For sure I have the second coat of silicone to put down in B’s shower. In Kansas City, timing to see Sis K is uncertain. So all signs point to ‘just be still’😜

🐍 Pics today tell of leaving Todd & Tammy’s world, my drive across the vastness of Texas and the humidity evidenced with ground fog. Also, I have discovered how relaxing it is to paint by number😊
