🪼 Good morning my sweet travel partner. How are you doing today?
🪼 I am weary. Today I’m driving to my brother’s in North Dakota. A cup of coffee and a couple caffine tablets will keep me alert. Indeed, I am looking forward to his quiet household and no alarms to get me out of bed!
🪼 Yesterday I got my Blue Angel’s 5000 mile oil change and service check completed. While I was there, one of their agents helped me understand some of the things I was wondering, like direction of travel and such.
🪼 And then I went to Sis P‘s, met up with her granddaughter Jody. We went to the Omaha Zoo, reputed to be the biggest zoo in the ‘country’? Google says: “The {Henry Doorly Zoo and Aquarium in Omaha, Nebraska} is widely considered the largest zoo in the world by land area and the number of species housed. It covers over 130 acres and houses thousands of animals from hundreds of species.” We saw lots of monkeys, fish, sharks, jellyfish, rhinos, elephants, and giraffes. Some I got pictures. Many I did not..
🪼 After the zoo, Jody, her Hubby J and son G took me to the Cajun Crab Pho. Remembering Danny’s love of the dish, I had a seafood pho. The others had a very messy crab “boil”. The restaurant provided bibs and rubber gloves, a big roll of paper towels and a bucket for shells.
🪼 Part of the reason for going there was because Jody loves crayfish. She offered me an opportunity to try them again and maybe this way I would like them. They’re just like the ones I had in Texas. Not worth the work😵💫
🪼Ok, it’s time to roll… I hope you enjoy my pictures. And I hope you are doing well. I hope, too, that WE get good sleep😴 tonight.🐯Tiger, 🦁Pon, 🧸Äri, 🐢Buddy, 🐘Connie, 🐈Missy, 🐈⬛ Hissy and 😇 I send loves 🫶and 🤗hugs.
