Carter Park family picnic

🧺 Good Morning, Love. How are you today? And how was your Sunday?

🧺 Mine was great and I am ever so grateful that today I could sleep in😴

🧺 I think yesterday was a roaring success!! Of 39 family invited, 34 came (counting me)🥰

🧺For this blog, I am deleting nearly all names and not sharing specific people pictures, as I do not have permission to post them…

🧺 The picture of me, my niece and her daughter represents the success of the gathering. My sister’s family got to interact with my daughter’s family… goal accomplished!

🧺 The 14 kids all had a blast either kayaking, playing in the lake or on the playground equipment. M’s idea of bananas on a stick, spread with Nutella and rolled into chocolate chips was a hit!

🧺 Our ten immediate relatives brought their respective families. We enjoyed all the company and got to know each other better.

🧺 We all loved M’s white bean chili. There were lots of fruits, veggies and chips. A few took leftovers home, like I get to eat some of that chili again👏👏👏

🧺 I hope you enjoy the collages. I think I got all the adults. I didn’t have enuf energy to get all of the kids😳

🧺 And I failed to get pics of a couple families. And no pics of the food layout😞

🧺 And with that, I’m wrapping this up.
