Danny was on the move

Saturday 8/9/25

📐Good morning, my ever changing love 💗 Is your measuring stick longer or shorter today??

📐 Quite honestly I don’t attempt to measure except in pounds, and then it’s not worth worrying about!!

📐 Today I am.. wondering where the morning went! 5:00, 9:00, 10:30??? I was just laying here, thinking… 😅😂🤣

📐 Yesterday I did my report and tai chi at H’s and then hung around his house till nearly 6pm! I can’t explain the heart issue that kept him overnight. It took FIVE hours from the noonish “you can go home” to actually walking out of the hospital!

📐 From there, I joined long time friend C and her daughter A at the Big Valley Bingo hall. In general I was too busy ‘dabbing’ my numbers to visit much!!

📐 And… about Danny. I’ve been neglecting to bring you up-to-date on my boy’s activities. As you know traveling is in his blood and having a home base is important. And you know that he and Pon have purchased property near her Dad’s farm. It’s a quiet place to go home to.

📐 Well, they decided to get started with travel. One week per hotel per city. They have three cities in Thailand to get started. Travel between cities and countries will be by bus or train, or boat.

📐 So family gave them a ride to their first city, Chiang Khan. That first stay was good, but on the move to the next city, they were stuck at a bus station for four hours in the night. Then there was an 8 hour (more night) bus ride to Chiang Mai. That did it! Pon declared that travel had to wait till Äri is a bit older!!

📐 Now they have a three bedroom, 1.5 bath townhouse, complete with garage and a car they love!! Can you imagine, all that for $500 a month?!?

📐 It is in a gated community, with a good number of ‘expats’ and families with kids. Every evening they play badminton in the street! The family is happy there, except Mätty misses the swimming pool they enjoyed at the hotel🥰

📐 Today’s collages are all about Danny and family. Alaska’s time difference, stepdaughter Mätty, baby Äri, stairs, baby backpack, and more. Oh, and did you notice yesterday’s pic of Äri’s first tooth?
