Day 2 of Cruise

Monday 5/12/25

🚢 Good Morning, my virtual international traveler. Hope the beginning of this new week is going well for you…

🚢 I am gonna take a caffeine pill this morning. Couldn’t get to sleep last night. Ended with three hours from 1-3.  Now up & showered and ready for our coffee to be delivered, per our doorknob order! Then we are off to catch an 8:00 tour bus 🚌 (Hope we don’t have to run too fast🤪)

🚢 Yesterday was a good one. There were all kinds of things to do on the boat, but it was easy  to decide that I would rather finish my report for the day.

🚢 Snacky lunch in my cabin, out the door in time for dinner.  Reservation options were all filled up, but we did find a nice “walk-in” restaurant. Had a good crab cake and salmon meal. Had some fun company and an 87 year birthday celebration! I brought my yummy dessert to our room.

🚢 Next I went to a musical show, mostly I remember the song 🎶 Route 66🎶. That was followed by a standup comedy (where I kept working in my collages). He joked partly about the size of our showers.  By the end, I was desperate for a bathroom and hurried back to our room.  (Nope, didn’t see one the entire length of the ship! Don’t know where they hide them😳)

🚢 During the day, I recognized that the ship rocks gently,  like a slow rocker, except sideways!! Step count yesterday was only 3k+ compared to the day before’s almost 10k. Doing well with food selections.

🚢 Collages today bring us from boarding the bus on Saturday, thru customs, to getting on board and heading out to sea. (And a couple extra) Hopefully I gave you a good feel for what it was like. I shall continue to put collages in as much chronological order as possible… Till tomorrow…
