Grandbaby’s first tooth

Friday 8/8/25

🐶 Good morning dear heart💕 Did you have any pets sleeping with you last night?

🐶 I did! And I survived the night.. more restless than usual with both pets and me in H’s recliner! More on that later.

🐶 Yesterday was a very mixed bag.. I slept in, it was raining and I had no appointments till 7:30 swim. So no rush, right? Hmmm..

🐶 Behold, a text from Coinbase.. call this number if you didn’t ask for this access code! I didn’t, so I called! I explained my quandary about accessing my account. The young man said “we have a department that can help you get your password reset. They will call you back in a day or two. Yes, from this number”. I was so excited that I would finally get back into my account!

🐶 Until it dawned on me I hadn’t confirmed the number.. I confirmed that it was probably a scam! I wanted to cry! No harm done, I reported the message & blocked the number.. after putting my screen shots in a new “Scams” folder! Thankful that P helped me second think that call!!!

🐶 Spent so much time on that scam, it was nearly 5:00 before I finished my report process and my Tai Chi practice. I left at 6:00 to trade my new knee brace for a larger one!

🐶 On the way to the drug store, H called! I pulled over to see why. He had been to a heart doctor in Anchorage and things went awry. They are keeping him in the hospital, hopefully just overnight! Would I stay at his house and care for his pets? Well, yes!

🐶 So I went to swim, chatted with a friend while we moved, moved, moved.. and I used a medium weight dumbbell. A quick stop at the store for lunch items and on to Hs. Fed the cat and the dog and settled into his recliner.

🐶 Through all that, I managed some collages: Äri’s first tooth, a Lincoln Town Car, a swollen leg, and a mysterious floating object.

🐶 And with that, I’m signing off..
