🐓 Good Morning, My Love and Welcome to October-the first day of the last quarter of 2025! Has time moved fast enuf for you??

🐓 I am grateful to have an hour to get this out before we board our flight from Seattle to Anchorage.

🐓 As I wrote this report, I was on Alaska Airlines, headed from Maui to Seattle. We will land in Anchorage at 12:20 noon today.

🐓 Yesterday, I stayed home all day. The kids and OF went to Mac Kena Beach, Secret Cove (pa' ako Beach). There they experienced the strongest waves yet!! They came home talking about how much they were knocked down and tossed about. I have just one picture so far, and will include it in my next post.

🐓 The girls rushed off to deliver OF to her flight back to Albuquerque. They also checked our bags while there. They were frustrated when 1.. not allowed to check bags till four hours before flight. 2.. went back in 30 minutes to find the agents don't come to work till ANOTHER 30 minutes!

🐓 By the time they got home, we had to rush to the airport to meet up with B. He was flying home from a day biz trip and would pick his car up from us!

🐓 The rest of the evening went well. We were all aboard, and it looked like our Seattle connection would be good too. Thanks for your prayers 🙏🏻🙏🏻

🐓 Today's collages: a t-shirt gift Aloha Maui with a rooster🐓 maybe it's perfect for me because of my interest in the feral chicken population on Maui. There are also feral pigs and goats!

🐓 On Sunday at our Twin Falls stop, we got up close to some bamboo trees. I especially appreciated the one that was cut to be a stump for E to stand on! Reminded me of the games we played in the Giant Redwood Forest in California decades ago.

🐓 As you may already know, I love new, strange, wierd stuff about bathrooms and trash. Today I have a small collection for you. I especially like the trashcan sign that said to throw your coconuts in the bushes on the road to Hana!!

🐓 And yet another way my P found to spoil me. She got two flavors of Mochi Ice Cream. The pic is of the strawberry, which wasn't as good as the cookies & cream version.

🐓 Lastly, some pictures of our Sunday trip to Hana and a map that gives an idea of the coastal trip we took to get there.

🐓 And with that, Aloha. And thank you for your continued prayers for our family and others hurting in so many ways. Please pray too that our/my flights will continue to happen as scheduled!
