Remember Your Dad Day

Saturday 9/20/25

👴 Good Morning, My Bright Shining Light 🕯️How are you doing today??

👴 I am more rested… ‘dozed’ till 9:30… nothing on my agenda besides self care and make packing decisions. One bag for Hawaii, a second bag ready to grab when we get back on the First! A warning about an unusually early cold streak in Maine will probably not change my packing plans!!

👴 Yesterday went pretty smooth.. Had my list of things to do before leaving H’s (thank goodness for lists!) Got my report out, the list done, messages to H and his neighbors, and the car packed out… even took time to create a folder of family pics that I sent to T, K’s widow. She is creating a slide show to run at his Celebration of Life! She is also copying the pictures onto thumb drives to share w us! T is doing an awesome job with K’s memorial service💔❤️‍🩹💔

👴 I skipped a bit telling you about my Doc H’s experience. Monday I had a pain in my spine right between my shoulder blades. Normally after a session that pain would go away!! But IT GOT WORSE!! Which is why I went in Tuesday for the tape and sinus treatment. By Wednesday morning, THAT pain was gone and then it hurt UNDER my shoulder blade!! Thursday a sinus adjustment, and yesterday morning the pain in my shoulder was also gone!! So you see, idk how🤷‍♀️, it just works!!

👴 Beyond that, after carrying my bags into my room at P’s, I collapsed on the couch, watched the family interact with their cats and dogs and dozed over my phone… the weather was too icky to work in the dirt🥲

👴 We closed the day watching Netflix “Six Tripple Eight”, an awesome true story of overcoming giant challenges.

👴 Collages today: a ‘Remember Your Dad Day’ from Bobby and a pic of K. from his son J., time ‘heals’, a widow coping, signs at the Noisy Goose and Dylan’s four-wheeling Toyota.. and with that, goodbye for now!

👴 Please continue to pray for our family and the many others who have cause to hurt, and for those affected by New England’s cold snap😢 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
