The beauty of lightening

🌞 Happy solstice! I hope you are able to enjoy this longest day of the year!!

🌞 This is the one day of the year that P & M allow their girls to have a sleepover and stay up till midnight! Good thing I am usually awake till then!! While the kids did their thing, I camped on the couch upstairs till 12:30 am. Worked great! And I woke about 8:30 this morning to the quiet sounds of their chatter.

🌞 Also woke to the news from Becca that her warning of storms was too accurate! Thunder and lightening and 100+ mph winds and deadly tornadoes🌪️ . Please pray for all those affected 🙏🏻 And praise Becca’s ability to find beauty even in the midst of the storm! And praise their resilience as Becca and her framily are having fun on the lake today🚤

🌞 Yesterday I acknowledged my lack of desire to do exercises, etc. I choose a “do nothing” day.. lots of tv with girls, no phone till 7pm, even said no to a walk w P. Hoping a day of rest will help my muscles.. So far, so good.

🌞 The rest of my collages are “on this day” Facebook repeats: a buy one get one charity, a salute 🫡 to Vietnam Vets and to a WWll German POW 🇺🇸, a lesson in the need for effort, and a pic of me in Nessa’s peony garden years ago. I hope you enjoy…
