Trey Pendley's "Daddy's Son"

Monday, 9/22/25

✈️ Good Morning, Sunshine 🌞 How is your day?

✈️ Mine is tired.. I might have slept some on the flights -maybe caught myself dozing a couple times. It's 10-11:00 am. Hawaii's 80 degrees isn't bad with a nice brisk cool breeze!

✈️ Yesterday was a steady flow of bed laundry, sorting, packing, weighing, repacking. . tucked my "stay" tote in the closet and carried my suitcase to the car about 7:00pm. Still needed to remake my bed and clean up a few things. Took till 8:00 to be completely done. My Omaha suitcase is ready to grab and run!!

✈️ Played with collages till we loaded out at 10:00, and did even more on the road to Anchorage!

✈️ Glad we checked our small carryon bags, because getting through security was challenging.. Frozen protein drinks and a kid's squeegee toy had us waiting in line for TSA to open backpacks!

✈️ It was a three hour leg to Portland. My aisle seat was comfy. And our transfer gate was EXACTLY across the hall from us!!

The six hour flight to Maui in a window seat was not so comfy! I was cold, so I wore my rain jacket. With wo large men in the seats beside me, I waited till almost here to use the restroom.

✈️ And Hawaii is kinda like California in their protection policies. Each family had to complete a form declaring any vegetation or animals we might have with us! Whether we completed on paper or online, no one was at the exit asking any questions!

✈️ Hawaii has some pretty short runways, and that was one hard bounce when we landed! Glad we are safe!! So that's all I've got now...
